Indigenous Marathon Foundation – Virtual Run

The Indigenous Marathon Foundation has as one of its fundraisers Virtual Runs.

Register and commit to run, walk or cycle a distance of your choice between 3km and 150km over the month of November. You can do the distance in one go, or cumulatively throughout November (see FAQ).

To keep costs down, the Virtual Run is self-organised and supported. It operates on an honour system so once you have run the distance you notify the IMF whose organizers send you a Finishers Medal in December. You then engrave it with your distance and time.

Registrations cost $27 per person and close at 7pm AEST, Monday 7 November 2016.

Interested people are invited to join an informal group of runners, their friends, partners and children at 8am, 26 November at Mulligans Flat Nature Reserve at the Amy Ackman Street carpark, Forde to do a run/walk of your choice of distance.

There are lovely options for flat, well-groomed dirt (5-10kms) within the park and some runners are planning to do the 21.1km run from Mulligans Flat to One Tree Hill and Hall (with a car shuffle).

There is water at the start and toilets within Mulligans Flat. Dogs are allowed as it is a nature reserve.
