Relay for Life 2019

Looking for a fun and social way to get up those hours for your next long event?
Make your long runs matter. Relay for Life is a 24-hour charity fun run event aimed at raising money for the Cancer Council to enhance their vital research and support services. We are looking for as many walkers / runners for all ACT Tri, Running and Walking clubs to band together an complete some laps of the AIS running track.
For the marathon and half-marathoners in training for the ARF, this is a great way to get those kms under your belt!
Date: Saturday 23 March 11am to Sunday 24 March 11am
This is a perfect way to train for  a long even, with the TACT tent on hand to provide support – including lollies and water to keep you going. Join the team, and our team leader Chel, will allocate time and distance based on you preference.
This is a fun event for a great cause. There will be competitions on the night for best dressed, largest team, longest run and more.
Registration is open. It costs $40 to join our team, which gets you a free T-shirt and eligibility for on-the-day prizes.
For more information and to confirm your registration, please contact FIT Coaching Co-ordinator Rachel (Chel) Haynes so you can be added to the roster for the event.
