Saturday 7 April 2018 – Ultimate Capital Coast Triathlon Festival
Located just south of the old event at Batemans Bay this course could quite possibly be the fastest of all the Ultimate Festivals. At its new home in Tomakin, Ultimate Capital Coast Triathlon Festival is designed for speed. From the wind protected swim in the Tomaga River, the fast straights of George Bass Drive to the pancake flat run through Tomakin these races will be fast!
Saturday 14 April / Sunday 15 April 2018 – Australian Running Festival
A mix of events, from 5km through to an ultra marathon.
Sunday 29 April 2018 – Rotary Rides Canberra Five Peaks Challenge

This non-competitive cyclo-sportive event provides a great challenge to ride the six peaks of Canberra – Mount Stromlo, Red Hill, Mount Pleasant, Mount Ainslie and Black Mountain as well as Dairy Farmers Hill (in the Arboretum).
Saturday 19 May / Sunday 20 May 2018 – FIT MS MegaSwim
The Canberra 24 hour MegaSwim is a fun team event raising money for Multiple Sclerosis Australia. This is an annual event for FIT and last year FIT entered a team of 23 keen swimmers who together swam a total of 55km over 24 hours and raised over $3000 for MS.
Sunday 27 May 2018 – YMCA Half Marathon

A lovely community focused run over a scenic course, which usually attracts around 300-400 participants. Canberra YMCA focuses on participation, fun and encouragement.

Join 80,000 of your closest friends for a run from Hyde Park in Sydney to Bondi Beach.
Sunday 30 September 2018 – Gears and Beers (Cycling) Festival
Craft beer and picturesque cycling routes. Festival atmosphere, outstanding locally roasted coffee, accompanied by local regional food plus first class musical entertainment. Fast becoming a must do event for cyclists around the country who enjoy a quality beer at the end of a ride. Courses range from 9km to the Dirty 130.
Sunday 21 October 2018 – Bowral (Cycling) Classic
Make your choice from three courses: The Maxi Classic, a challenging 160km ride through some of the most breathtaking scenery you can experience on two wheels. The Challenge Classic; a 120km option for those with less time on their hands, or distance in their legs. For a cruisier and casual experience, The Social Classic is a 45km ride through the most stunning areas of the Southern Highlands, with the opportunity to stop in a local wineries and cafes along the way.
