FIT Cycling – 2019 Program

FIT Cycling is shaping up to be a great year in 2019! To make sure you don’t miss a beat, join the FIT Cycling Facebook Group. In addition to our regular Wednesday, Friday and Sunday rides we have a range of other exciting options to keep you riding throughout the year.

January

28 January – Public Holiday ride. 7.30am Stromlo. Several ride options.

February

5 February – Rookie Cycling commences  (4 weeks). Cost: $40.

Coached program for those wishing to gain bike confidence and begin learn to ride with others. For details and registration click here.

March

3 March – Target event: Big Canberra Bike Ride

4 March – Not-A-Novice-Anymore (NANA) Program commences (8 weeks). Cost $40.

Coordinated program for those wishing to train in a group for specific events. Suitable for riders who have completed a rookie/novice program or have some experience. More details and registration info will be posted here early 2019.

24 March – Target event: Bobbin Head Cycling Classic

April

19 April – Hot Cross Bunnies Ride. All welcome.

25 April – Public Holiday ride. 8.00am Stromlo. Several ride options.

28 April – Target event: Ride the Ranges Euroa

May-August (the cold season)
  • Sunday rides continue.
  • Weekday rides continue if demand, otherwise option to train indoors (non-FIT activity, all welcome).
September

Weekday rides resume first week of September

October

All Oct – Great Cycle Challenge Fundraiser

6 October – Target event: Gears and Beers Wagga

27 Oct (TBC) – Target event: Fitz’s Challenge

December

18 December – Jingle Bells Ride. Dress up your bike. All abilities welcome.
